45 minute classes.
Boxing Fundamental classes are designed for people with little or no previous boxing experience. Coaches focus on teaching the basics and laying a strong foundation of good technique that will carry you through to the fitness and eventually our more advanced classes.
These sessions offer a good workout but mostly the focus is on boxing instruction and technique. They’re also great for anyone wanting to improve/brush up on their boxing fundamentals.
Level & Experience
No previous boxing experience is necessary, but ideally you will have a basic level of fitness before attending. Please speak to our coaches if you’d like more information on what the classes involve!
When & How
Boxing Fundamental classes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6.15- 7pm.
One-on-one, private and small group personal training sessions are also available at other times of the day or week.
What do I need to bring?
Hand wraps. You will need to bring your own hand wraps. A variety of wraps are available for purchase from Beat Boxing Gym reception for $15 – $16.
Boxing Gloves. We recommend you purchase your own gloves to wear in class. The gym carries an extensive range that are available for purchase.
For your first session, you must have or purchase your own wraps however we ae happy to lend gloves to you for your trial.
Towel and water bottle. All participants will need to bring their own sweat towel and bottle of water.
