Intensity & Activity
45 minute classes.
Delivering targeted boxing training, youth classes focus on the mechanics and key skills of the sport, including punches, defensive skills, general technique and both attacking and defensive drills. All the key elements of boxing are demonstrated in a controlled and safe environment by our team of experienced coaches.
Youth boxing classes are not suitable for beginners and a moderate fitness level is required. These sessions provide a good workout, however the focus is mostly on advancing your boxing technique and skills.
Sparring sessions are optional.
Level & Experience
Youth boxing classes are open to anyone aged 12-17 with a solid foundation of boxing skills. Please speak to our team for more information if you are unsure whether you have the necessary skill and fitness levels.
These classes offer the option of participating in sparring sessions which are organised during or outside of our Intermediate Class times. It’s recommended you have an intermediate fitness level and some boxing experience before participating. Talk to your coach about joining a sparring session.
Please note – mouthguards and headgear must be worn for all sparring sessions, and all Youth Boxing participants require the consent of a Parent or Guardian to participate.
If you’re looking to work towards a corporate, amateur or professional boxing match, please discuss your plans with Head Coach Chris Dunn.

To work around school times, youth boxing classes are currently held on Fridays at 4pm.
One-on-one, private and small group personal training sessions are also available at other times of the day or week.
