Intensity & Activity
60 minute classes.
Intermediate Boxing focuses on teaching more advanced boxing skills, including the science behind the sport, key punches and defensive skills, and work with both attacking and defensive drills. Our experienced coaches deliver an in-depth look at boxing in a safe and controlled environment where you can improve your skills in a real way.
These classes do offer a good workout but primarily focus on delivering boxing technique and skills instruction.
Sparring sessions are optional.
Level & Experience
Intermediate Boxing classes are open to anyone 12 years and older and cater to those with a solid foundation of boxing skills and an intermediate level of fitness. It’s not recommended to attend if you have no previous boxing experience. Please speak to our coaches to find out more about what the classes involve and whether you’re ready to join.
These classes offer the option of participating in sparring sessions. You should develop an intermediate level of fitness and boxing skills before taking part in any sparring. Talk to your coach about joining a session.
Please note – mouthguards and headgear must be worn for all sparring sessions, and anyone under 18 will need the consent of a Parent or Guardian to participate.
If you’re looking to work towards a corporate, amateur or professional boxing match, please discuss your plans with Head Coach Chris Dunn.
