Beat Boxing Gym will respond to all enquiries and requests during normal business hours, which are 9-5pm from Monday to Friday.
Classes and instructors are subject to change without prior notice. Any last minute changes to the timetable will be clearly outlined on our website, adjusted through mindbody and on our social media platforms. Please check the timetable through mindbody regularly to ensure the class you are attending is running.
We recommended PRE BOOKING through our website or MINDBODY to secure your place in your favourite session. All members on Direct Debit and Upfront memberships are given priority in sessions over 10 class passes and casual visits.
Cancellation Policy

If you can’t make your session we require 24 hours’ notice so we can fill your spot.
- Any appointments cancelled or changed with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the session fee.
- Any missed appointments without notice will be charged the full session fee.
Class bookings can be cancelled any time before the scheduled class time except for the Kids and Youth boxing sessions – these are prebooked in advance and require a minimum of 24 hours notice to retain the credit from the 10 pass. All no shows will be late cancelled from the class and in turn, incurring the cost of the session.
10 Class Pass
10 Class Passes cannot be refunded after purchase. However, they can be transferred to another nominated client for the fee of one class credit.
10 Class Passes are valid for 4 months from the date of purchase.
Direct Debit Memberships
- The Member is entitled during the Membership Period to unrestricted use of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ facilities subject to the conditions of this Agreement and our general Terms & Conditions (which the Member acknowledges having received).
- The Member’s rights will be automatically suspended (at the discretion of the Manager/Directors) if the Member is in default in making any payments required under this Agreement. If any instalment of the Membership Fee is not paid on the due date then the whole of the balance of the membership Fee outstanding will be at the Manager’s option to become immediately payable upon demand.
- Non-use of the facilities by the member gives no right to a rebate, cancellation or refund of the Membership Fee. If the Health Centre remains closed during the hours of opening for any reason (customary and statutory holidays excluded) the Member’s membership will be automatically extended for an additional period equal to the duration of the closure.
- Outside the cooling off period (7 days) and within the minimum term, a cancellation fee of $150 is applicable to Direct Debit memberships.
- The member accepts they must give 21 days written notice by way of signed ‘Beat Boxing Direct Debit Variation Form’ to commence the cancellation process.
- The Member accepts that ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ reserves the right to incrementally increase all membership rates/fees at any time. ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ will ensure that all Members are given 30-days written notice of the changes and options available to the Member prior to the increment being applied.
- The Member may not transfer their rights under this Agreement but ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager may transfer their rights on notice to the Member.
- Despite any other provision in this agreement ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’’ and the Manager reserve the right to cancel this agreement at any time by notice in writing without giving reasons and without compensation but the Member must receive a refund of any moneys paid and attributable to the remaining Membership Period after that cancellation.
- This agreement of itself does not confer upon the Member any interests in any assets of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager or any right to participate in the management of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’, its premises and ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ facilities or in the profits or assets of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager.
- In accordance with the Fitness Industry Code of Practice: if the Membership Period is 3 months or more then the Member has a 7 day cooling off period from the date of this Agreement to terminate the Agreement on written notice: and – if the Member terminates this Agreement during the cooling off period then the Member is entitled to a refund of the Membership Fee (less the reasonable costs of any services provided plus a reasonable administrative fee).
- Membership suspension/time stop is available for a minimum of two (2) weeks and a maximum of six (6) weeks each calendar year with any Direct Debit Membership only. A Beat Boxing Gym membership Variation form must be submitted. Any further extensions may be granted by ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd. and the Manager’ strictly on a case by case circumstance, including but not limited to illness or injury.
- Any Renewal/Extension of this Membership Agreement is undertaken with the understanding that the aforementioned ‘Conditions of Membership’ apply in full to any additional term.
3, 6, 12 Month Upfront Memberships
3 Month, 6 Month and 12 month unlimited class pass memberships cannot be refunded, however they can be transferred to another nominated client for an admin fee of $15. Memberships purchased with a student discount can only be transferred to another client who holds a valid Student ID.
The 3 Month, 6 Month and 12 month pass begins from the date of first visit and must be activated within 30 days of purchase.
Members are entitled to a 2 week pause every 3 months of an upfront membership up to a total of 6 weeks per year. Pauses must be taken in 2 week blocks. Members are asked to put their request in writing and wait for confirmation for it to take effect. A per week pause fee of $3.50 per week is charged before the extension can be applied. Any extensions outside of the above stated periods will require a medical certificate or further documentation to accompany the members request.
No refunds or returns are offered on any services provided or gift cards purchased, however gift cards and some service packages, passes and memberships can be transferred to another nominated client.
Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
No refunds are available on gift cards, but they can be transferred to another nominated client.
Goods, such as boxing gloves and hand wraps, cannot be refunded or returned after use due to hygiene laws.
Products with manufacturing faults will be replaced or refunded within 3 months of purchase at the discretion of management.
The Manager is engaged by ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ to operate and manage ‘The Gym’.
BEAT BOXING GYM PTY LTD GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE AND INDEMNITY.
- The Member warrants (as fundamental condition of this Agreement) that the member is:
– Medically able to participate in physical exercise and to use gymnasium facilities; and
– Not aware of having any physical or mental disability conditions or disease which might be aggravated or worsened by physical exercise or which could result in deterioration of health if physical exercise is undertaken. - The Member acknowledges that ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager offer no warranty that the programs, advice or facilities available to the Member are approved by any medical or other authority.
- The Member indemnifies and releases ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager, and their employees, agents and contractors, from any claim:
– arising by reason of the Member suffering disease, deterioration of health, illness or aggravation of any condition of ill health as a result of participation in the programs, acceptance of advice, or use of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.‘ facilities; which may result in death; or personal injury sustained by the Member in, on or about ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ or that ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.‘, the Manager, or any employee, agent or contractor of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ or the Manager is negligent. - The Member accepts that with any physical activity, including the activities on offer at ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ that there is a risk of either minor or major accidents, illness, sickness, injury or death occurring. The Member acknowledges that the Member uses ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.‘ and facilities at the member’s own risk. The Member has been supplied with a pre-exercise questionnaire relating to the Member’s fitness to participate in the services offered by ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager, or to use the facilities provided on the premises. The rights and obligations under clauses 9 and 10 of this Membership Agreement will not be affected if a Member has given answers to a pre-exercise questionnaire, which indicate that he or she has an injury or a risk of injury from participating in any services provided, by ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager. If the Member has given answers to a pre-exercise questionnaire which indicate that he or she has an injury or risk of injury from participating in any services provided by ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ or Manager, the member must not use the facilities or services offered by ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager, unless he or she has obtained appropriate medical or health advice in relation to the Member’s use of or participation in any facilities or services offered by ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager, and has provided that medical or health advice to ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager.
- ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager is not responsible for the Member’s property and ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.‘ and the Manager will not be liable for loss of or damage to the Member’s property.
- The Member warrants that the Member and any guest introduced by or accompanying the Member in ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ will obey all rules and regulations and any lawful and reasonable direction of the manager and that they will not conduct themselves in any way which presents a danger to or creates a nuisance for ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager or other members or persons using ‘The Gym’.
- Despite any other provision in this agreement ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’’ and the Manager reserve the right to cancel this agreement at any time by notice in writing without giving reasons and without compensation but the Member must receive a refund of any moneys paid and attributable to the remaining Membership Period after that cancellation.
- Except as prevented by flood, fires, war, strikes, government regulations or similar causes, ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’’ will during the Membership period maintain the Hours of Opening and in the event that ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ facilities regularly used by the member are closed for any reason the Member agrees to accept similar substitute facilities within a reasonable distance from ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd’.
- This agreement of itself does not confer upon the Member any interests in any assets of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager or any right to participate in the management of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’, its premises and ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ facilities or in the profits or assets of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager.
- ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ and the Manager have the right to amend the Rules and Fitness services provided and Regulations at any time without notice.
- If a Member is under 18, the Guardian:
– consents to the Member becoming a member of ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’:
– has read and understands this agreement: and takes full financial responsibility for the Member – will use reasonable and all endeavours to ensure that the Member complies with this Agreement. - In this Agreement unless the contrary intention appears:
– the singular includes the plural and vice versa:
– a reference to a party includes that party’s members; and
– “Member” includes the guardian of the Member if the Member is under 18. - The Member consents to and authorises the use and reproduction by ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.‘ and its agents, of the following items relating to the members participation in ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ activities:
– Photographs, video, results, comments and testimonials both written and recorded on audio and/or video, first name and initial, suburb and age.
– The Member fully understands that the above information may be used for advertising purposes now and/or any time in the future. The Member also acknowledges that the Member, or any successor, assignee or heir is not entitled to any compensation now and/or in the future for any or all use of said items of information. - The Member acknowledges that during such times whilst on ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ premises that their child/children are there at the Member’s own risk and will not hold ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ liable. Children must not be left in the foyer nor enter the Group Fitness or Gym areas unattended at any time.
- The Member acknowledges that any hot/cold beverages or food consumed, spilt, knocked, bumped is at the Members own risk and will not hold ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ liable for any burns, cuts or injuries incurred.
- Personal Dress and Bearing. The member consents that whilst on ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.’ premises that they will wear the appropriate training attire (including closed-toe shoes). Dirty work attire (boots, clothes) must not be worn. Participants must present to ‘Beat Boxing Gym Pty Ltd.‘ in a clean and tidy fashion with a good standard of personal hygiene. Entry is subject to this condition and will be revoked if found in breach.
