It’s to be expected, although soreness has NO relation to the quality of the workout. You may be sore because you did something new. Then again, you may not be sore at all… If you are experiencing any muscle soreness from yesterday’s workout, one of the best things to do is get up and move around and then do some stretches. Also, be sure to drink plenty of water – ideally, 1.5 – 3 litres per day. Like everything, the more boxing sessions you do the better the results you yield, so, you definitely want to make it to the next session…no matter how sore you are. You want to get the blood flowing to those muscles to speed up the recovery process. Plus, the strength, skill and fitness work we do will be extremely beneficial.
